RAW is an Erasmus+ project that aims to raise awareness of effective waste management among trade employees, regional development agencies, local authorities and business development centres, but also among VET teachers, trainers and mentors.

RAW project comes as a response to the current context of overloading and exploitation of the environment and its resources, presenting a circular economy as a sustainable alternative. This model aims at socio-economic development and growth with respect for the natural environment with practices geared towards the rational use of resources while limiting negative impacts on the environment and minimizing waste as much as possible. For this RAW will work towards introducing solutions for continuous professional development, focusing on the concepts of waste management and smart use of resources

RAW will develop tools with the aim of raising the attractiveness of effective waste management as part of the strategy of circular economy. Increasing the knowledge on conscious use of materials and resources through different digital innovative tools.  To achieve the project’s objective all project partners will work for two years on the development of two main results:

  • Guide on circular economy strategies in the business environment that will contain a methodological guide and a crash course all through case studies of professionals who already demonstrate a sustainable approach in their business activities.
  • Circular economy awareness app that will include learning pills, quizzes, a strategy builder and a gamified footprint tracker tool that will show how the actions taken by the user.

The consortium working on the RAW project is built up by 3 chambers of commerce, 3 SMEs and 1 association, as representatives of 6 countries: Poland, Bulgaria and Hungry; Spain and Portugal; Turkey, facilitating the exchange of perspectives.
